After training in Europe, Michael has spent the last 18 years as one of South Africa’s most successful photographers. His acclaims as a photographer around the globe, led him to expand his creative talent as a respected commercials director with a distinctive style. His attention to detail, and deeply tuned photographic eye has translated well in the film format. His success has received many accolades and awards, including as a judge at the D&AD awards. Michael has directed commercials for the likes of Edgars, Mercedes Benz, Airlink, and SAB. outside of his work in advertising, michael remains obsessed with his photography, and spends his time developing his own renowned work.
